"High Tide"

I draw upon my own experience of climate change and tidal environments to offer clear and practical visuals for the issue of rising seas. A barnacle-clad seawall is an easily-recognizable representation of an area at low tide. My objective is to call attention to the potential for the sea to eventually reclaim our everyday spaces, by giving physical form and presence to issues of climate change. My goal is to create awareness and invite conversation about the trajectory of climate change, initiatives to mitigate its impact, and the adaptations it will require.
