Pasamontañas originates from the Andean cosmovision (worldview) that anthropomorphizes nature. Mountains are alive and are witnessing how we destroy our planet. In this series, the artist brings us closer to alternative cosmovisions and invites us to reimagine our relationship with nature. The artist believes that the only way we can secure our future is by understanding how ancestral civilizations treated our planet, humans, animals, plants and land.
 
Pasamontañas urges us to preserve our present planet for future generations. Overexploitation can not be separated from capitalism and consumerism and we can all take action.
