Entangled / Kaja Grujic
Short Film
Grujic’s dance film expands our understanding of climate advocacy beyond policy and legislation. The movements of the dancers explore one of society’s main problems that has led us to our current climate crisis: the mistaken belief that humans are superior and separate from nature. Slowly, the dancers become entangled in their surroundings and one another as the tone shifts and offers an optimistic way forward. In our search for transitions, the film asks: how can we collectively reimagine our position in nature?
Entangled inspires a climate renaissance by creating a space for optimism and daring us to imagine a sustainable future. The goal is not to respond to why climate advocacy is important, but how we can begin making those changes today.
