We were doing some good work. But I realized that we were sending some people back to the same environment in which they came from with no real skills to navigate that, let alone to get a job. So, I started on my journey of, "How do I make the neighborhoods that they live in better?"

In your business and in your community, make diversity and inclusion a priority. Be sure to be critical of your actions and what being diverse and inclusive really means. Don't just do it superficially. Do it right.
