"Belly-Up"

In the work Belly-Up, the planet is formed by a bloated inverted sea creature. This fish references the type once used to illustrate the fringes of medieval and renaissance-era maps, representing unknown and uncharted territory. In a full world with diminishing resources, the symbol has turned belly-up, with islands and continents forming its dark scales.
