"Root Mouth"
 
My work combines symbols and patterns from nature with the human body in search of an ‘ecological-self’. I look at how we make meaning from nature and how specific places or species ‘mark us’. I create drawings and rubbings from plants, animals and landscapes and then combine these drawings with figurative sculpture.
