CREATIVE CLIMATE FORUM 2026 

Collective Power 

Join us on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Pier 57 in New York City for the Creative Climate Forum: Collective Power —a day-long gathering of creative expression, dialogue, and collective action at the intersection of climate justice and culture.

Registration is FREE and open to all.  Priority will be given to those active in climate work from most impacted communities.

EXPLORE THE FORUM

Hosted by the Human Impacts Institute, this year’s Creative Climate Forum Collective Power brings together artists, organizers, and changemakers to explore how culture can disrupt harmful systems and regenerate more just, connected, and sustainable futures.

Join us for a full day of performances, panels, hands-on workshops, and immersive art installations—all designed to ignite the power of collective imagination and inspire real-world action.

Whether you stay for the whole day or curate your own experience, you’ll leave energized, informed, and ready to take action.

CONVERSATION & LEARNING

Join thought-provoking panels, hands-on workshops, and nature walks happening all day long. Begin by disrupting what holds us back, questioning the systems and stories that shape our world. Then turn toward regeneration, creating space for connection, collective care, and imagining what becomes possible together.

Kumi Naidoo offers a keynote that resonates with decades of struggle, solidarity, and hope, illuminating the path toward collective liberation. He will speak to the vital force of artivism as both a mirror and a catalyst, awakening the courage needed to build a more just and beautiful world.

About Kumi Naidoo

A South African human rights and environmental justice activist, Kumi Naidoo is the President of the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative, Co-Founder of Global Artivism Initiative, and the former Executive Director of Greenpeace International. He currently serves as a global ambassador for Africans Rising. He is also the former Secretary-General of Amnesty International.

Stay for a sunset event overlooking the Hudson River. Join us for this evening filled with networking, music, and climate community connections.

The Creative Climate Happy Hour sponsored by THIRTEEN / PBS NATURE will celebrate the closing of the Human Impacts Institute’s 2026 Creative Climate Forum – Collective Power, with drinks from Harlem Hops, a local BIPOC-women-owned brewery, appetizers from local vendors curated by Maggie Baird, and sunset views over the Hudson River. Hosted at the beautiful Pier 57 Living Room in Manhattan, the evening will feature sneak peaks at NATURE’s upcoming programming, live performance, and offer up a warm and uplifting closing moment for networking, celebration, and collective reflection.
