The Dreaming World, 2025

Film, 4:18 minutes

As an immersive, multidisciplinary work, this film combines animation, papermaking, painting, installation, and poetry to explore the psychological weight of living in an age of mass extinction. Centered on The Dreaming World, the work moves through transformed suburban landscapes, where invasive species like English Ivy serve as a quiet marker of ecological change. Through layered vignettes that blend animation with live-action spaces, paved environments are reimagined as rewilded ecosystems, offering speculative visions of renewal.
